Dr. Rainey Brown is a licensed professional counselor in private practice in Brentwood, Tennessee. She received her M.A. in counseling and a doctorate in clinical counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. After working in the community mental health field, Rainey began private practice in the fall of 2003.

Rainey holds the following clinical licensures and certifications:
• Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider, Tennessee
• Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP)
• EMDR Certification, Level 2

Rainey offers counseling services for adults and couples and is committed to encouraging healing and wholeness in spirit, mind and body. She has a heart for adults and couples who struggle with sexual issues, addictive sexual behavior and codependency. Rainey feels a strong call to support women as they address and work through relationship issues, career challenges, recovery from childhood trauma, divorce adjustment, and marital and family issues.

Rainey has a passion for working with couples who wish to strengthen their marriage or seek assistance in working through marital struggles. Issues often addressed include intimacy, boundaries in marriage, communication, sexuality, and sexual addiction. She also offers premarital counseling.

A strong believer in the importance of fellowship and community, Rainey and her husband, Doug, are active members in their church. On a quarterly basis, they teach a one-day premarital workshop and enjoy working with couples as they prepare for marriage. For several years they also facilitated a weekly Celebrate Recovery® 12-step group.

Rainey and Doug reside in Brentwood, Tennessee, and are the parents of two married sons and proud grandparents.
