Kirk received his master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a licensed professional counselor and has worked in multiple settings including an inpatient psychiatric hospital and an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center. He has been in private practice in since 2003.
Kirk is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). He is trained in EMDR and has advanced training in Christian sex therapy through the Institute for Sexual Wholeness.
