Rainey Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in Brentwood, Tennessee. She received her M.A. in Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. After working in the community mental health field, Rainey began private practice in the fall of 2003. Along with seeing clients, she is presently working on a doctorate degree in Clinical Counseling.

Rainey holds the following clinical licensures and certifications:
• Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider, Tennessee
• National Certified Counselor (NCC)
• Certified Sexual Addictions Specialist (CSAS) through the American Association of Certified Christian Sexual Addictions Specialists, Inc.
• EMDR Certification, Level 2

Rainey offers counseling services for adults, couples and adolescents and is committed to encouraging healing and wholeness in spirit, mind and body. She has a heart for adults, couples, and teens who struggle with sexual issues, addictive sexual behavior and codependency. Rainey feels a strong call to support women as they address and work through relationship issues, career challenges, recovery from childhood trauma, divorce adjustment, and marital and family issues.

Rainey has a passion for working with couples who wish to strengthen their marriage or seek assistance in working through marital struggles. Issues often addressed include intimacy, boundaries in marriage, communication, sexuality, sex addiction and co-addiction. She also offers premarital counseling.

A strong believer in the importance of fellowship and community, Rainey and her husband, Douglas, have been active members of Christ Church in Nashville for 17 years. On a quarterly basis, they teach a one-day premarital workshop and enjoy working with couples as they prepare for marriage. For several years they also facilitated a weekly Celebrate Recovery® 12-step group.

Rainey and Douglas reside in Brentwood, Tennessee, and are the parents of two college-aged sons.
