Board of Directors
Marnie is considered a leader in the treatment of women who struggle with sex and love addiction. She conducted the first gender-specific workshop for women in 1997, which was the forerunner of Bethesda Workshops. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a certified sex addiction therapist. Marnie is passionate about the ministry and serves as executive and clinical director, as well as a board member. Through her role on the board, Marnie’s goal is to partner with others to help the ministry thrive.
Jim is a Nashville native who has been a licensed psychotherapist since 1980. He currently practices at AGAPE, where he also serves as Assistant Clinical Director. Jim has referred many clients to Bethesda Workshops over the years, and his deep respect for the life changing work done through this program led to his interest in serving on the board. He and his wife married in 1980 and are the parents of a young adult son. Jim enjoys reading, music, and exploring contemplative spirituality. He is also trained as a spiritual director.
Jessica grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. She attended Taylor University near Indianapolis and received a B.A. in psychology and Spanish. She then attended Wheaton College and received an M.A. in Clinical Psychology. Jessica has worked at a variety of locations as a bilingual counselor in both suburban and urban settings in the Midwest and South, and she is currently building her private practice in Nashville.
Ina received a B.S. in accounting from Florida State University and an MBA from the University of Tampa. She and her husband Scott have been married since college and have three teenagers. Ina and Scott have attended every type of workshop Bethesda offers, and as an alumni of the program, Ina is especially committed to the mission of Bethesda Workshops. Ina has served on various non-profit boards and is currently working as a full-time mom.
